The group have set off from the offices of WFUK ahead of schedule and are now on their way to Stansted Airport. It is here that they will rendezvous with the volunteer life coaches, drawn from the local community and travel as a combined party to Scotland and then onwards to Oban where the ferry to Mull awaits them.
Director of WFUK, Jo Roberts is leading the group to Scotland, supported by the Life Coaches and accompanied by Jo Peacock of the University of Essex. When they touch down in Glasgow, our wilderness therapists Nick Ray and Ruth Bradbrook will meet them. It is Nick and Ruth who will be leading the wilderness trail on Mull.
On behalf of all the TurnAround team left behind – good luck everyone. You’re going to have an amazing journey and we wish we could be with you.
