This is to inform everyone that the Green Leaf Environmental Standard website is now up and running. Their website is www.greenleafecostandard.net
Please browse the above website and familiarize yourselves with this project which was initiated by the Wilderness Foundation, piloted in Africa, and was launched at South Africa’s Tourism Indaba in May 2008. The Green Leaf Environmental Standard has assessed hotels, game lodges and country estates in the tourism sector, an industry sector that interfaces intrinsically with the environment.
The Green Leaf Environmental Standard is project run by Andrew Mayoral-Phillips. Andrew MP’s assistant is Shelley Mugridge. They are based at their own office but use the Wilderness Foundation’s contact details.
