What is our safety record?

Approximately 40,000 people have taken part in our programmes. Of those some 21,000 have participated in wilderness trails, which involve spending 5-15 days in remote wilderness areas where potentially dangerous game and the hazards of mountainous terrain are present.

Staff have dealt effectively with the few medical emergencies that have risen over the years, such as appendicitis and epilepsy.

Comprehensive risk assessments are conducted in all areas that we work in. We visit each location and personally undertake each experience offered to participants.
