Sirius works with people who are passionate about the environment. The project has been designed to inspire a new generation of environmental leaders and advocates Sirius activities include environmental leadership and advocacy development through experiential learning on a wilderness trail in some of the wilder and most beautiful parts of the UK.
On the trail, highly skilled guides help to enhance the participants perspective of their place in the world, and explore how their actions impact on the wider environment and their communities. The wilderness journey gives participants the opportunity to explore their personal relationship with wild places and their perspectives on sustainability and critical issues of our time, such as climate change and the search for renewable energy sources.
We believe that the people involved will not only have a journey of adventure and learning, but also an opportunity for real personal growth throughout the programme, and they will be inspired to share their newly found knowledge and skills as emerging leaders.
