Wild Youth is brought to you by the Wilderness Foundation UK - a registered environmental education charity that has been working in the UK since 1976. Founded by Dr. Ian Player DMS, international conservationist renowned for saving the white rhino from extinction, and the late Sir Laurens van der Post, writer, explorer and philosopher, we are an environmental education and experience organisation, dedicated to preserving the last of the world’s wild places.
We increase understanding of the value of wild places through our trails programmes and through social projects that demonstrate how wilderness offers a vital key to the education and health of society and individuals.
Wild Youth is your place to explore issues affecting wilderness, ways to live a cleaner, green life with less impact on the environment and also share your experiences with other people like you. Use the blog and the forum to exchange ideas, share knowledge and to become a true advocate for wilderness.
